Sadly, Spring break has past. Oh so sad. I need another vacation. Ha, don’t I always?

Anyway, so it was a pretty relaxing week, and I didn’t do any sewing! Amazing! Dickson and I were up in Northern California. Here’s a few of my favorite pics. You can see more on my flickr.

Ah, being a student does have its perks: all those “breaks”. You know what I’m talking about. 3-4 week winter break, 1 week spring break, SUMMER. I’m going to miss all this when I start working.

Table Runner for the Nonexistent Table

This month’s project for FADSA is the pin-tucked table runner. When they announced it, the first thing I thought was, “Crap. Our dining table is ROUND.”

Well, not really. Our dining table is actually a long wooden table that can seat eight. However, we usually prefer to sit at the round pub table in the kitchen.

So, since we rarely use the dining table, it seemed kind of silly to make a table runner for it. Actually, that’s not really why I didn’t make a table runner for it. Here’s why:

Little Piggy!

I have this strange obsession with pigs mostly because I was born the year of the pig. Actually, and because they’re cute and intelligent. But, I don’t have a pig stuffed animal…Oliver doesn’t count because that Old-McDonald-singing pig was my sister’s.
