My Janome’s at the doctor. Poor thing. She’s been cluky, noisy, and everything she shouldn’t be at 7 months. Bah. So, as much as I’m dying to sew (HELLO, summer skirts!) and as much as I want to start setting up an Etsy shop, I can’t. It’s okay though (kind of), since I’ve been pretty caught up with apartment shopping (YES, we finally bought our first flat screen TV!!!!).

Anyway, so lets go through my list of things I want to make even though my machine’s not around at the moment.

  1. Jersey dress — probably with one of the dress patterns I already have. Speaking of which, I still have to finish my graduation dress. Oops.
  2. Skirts — hopefully two
  3. Bag for Mom — yes I still owe her a bag.
  4. Kitchen Aid Mixer Cover — started designing it, but just haven’t gotten around to cutting it.
  5. Shirts for work — hopefully two

Anyway, in the meantime, here’s a cool video Dickson shared with me. If only we could do something similar when it comes to pattern design. It’s an amazing video though–worth the 5 minutes 🙂

Apartment shopping is so much fun! Sorry about your sick Janome…. She will return better than ever!
